Forgot about that stuff..... near the end of last year I had the idea of getting some "SubtleTint" for my mk3 Polo & put it on my tinted lights

So, I might do that with the Jetta lights if the usual tinting ain't enough

    Something new...... but what???

    New mirrors made by Mattig

The old mirror's turned out to be electric, just not connected up....... I'll be keeping hold of them

    ......

Think I've finally fixed the leak on the radiator (thank god)...... theres an flange/elbow with 2 bolts through it on the top of the radiator & water was leaking out around it..... tried a new O ring on it & it leaked less, tried a thicker O ring & when I nipped the bolts up it pulled the 2 threaded, brass, hex inserts out of the radiator ...... so removed them completely, fitted longer bolts with nuts & large washers on the underside

Thats not a bad time that Paul, same sort of times I was getting in the mk5 and that had 250bhp,yours should be around about the 200bhp mark though shouldnt it,is Matts VR a 2.8 or 2.9 same as yours.

    Matt's is 2.8..... but has Schrick cam's & a 6 branch

It will be heavier than mine with it been 5dr & leather interior.... tyre's are slimmer..... he had more fuel than me...... & it could do with a re-map

Jacked to car up next to my garage the other night..... jacked up the passenger side first & didn't realise the side door of the garage was up against the drivers side rear quarter Sad .... heard a creek from the other side while I was jacking it up, but cos I was rushing (getting dark) I didn't look into what the noise was

Those front seats look spot on, really nice. Gutted for you about the dents down the side, that's such a bummer!
