Finally got round to giving my car a good clean today after all the awful weather and fitted a K&N air filter. (I've only had it sat at home for three months! What a slacker!)

Yeah, sold it. It wasn't that I didn't like the diesel, the torque and top end were both great and the fuel economy was amazing compared to the petrol 2.0litre turbo. I think it was simply that I prefered the petrol. In all honesty I probably shouldn't have bought one exactly the same, as I was constantly comparing the two. I came out of it ok though as I bought it for 11,400 and sold it for 11,999
Now I've got the fun of finding something new to play with. I've also set up a savings account to start saving for an old VW again as I need one back in my life.
